Antepo adds SIP support to messaging platform - Network World

Antepo is one of those small companies that goes unnoticed but does interesting things. In this case, providing an integration framework across the SIP/SIMPLE, XMPP - and now - VoIP world. I'm surprised that they have not yet been acquired by someone like Adobe, Avaya, Cisco, or Oracle. A dark horse could be someone like BEA that could benefit from this type of real-time technology. Real-time collaboration could compliment what it has announced around "Web 2.0" (e.g., Project Builder and Project Graffiti) and also align well with its AquaLogic User Interaction (Plumtree) portal.

Real-time collaboration vendor Antepo plans to extend the protocol support in its instant messaging and presence server in order to open up its back end to more client choice and VoIP options.
