Thanks to Cydni Tetro via twitter (@cydtetro).
A study by web site UberCEO.com reveals that an appalling two out of a hundred of 100 America’s top CEOs have Twitter accounts (Warren Buffet and Proctor & Gamble’s Alan Lafley). Thirteen have LinkedIn profiles, but only three of those have 10 or more connections. A mere 19 have Facebook pages. Not one has a blog.
.....Fortune 100 CEOs and Social MediaView more documents from Sharon Barclay.

And to this I say, ".. what do you want your F100 CEO to do, run the business or be a mouthpiece?" ..
I think more of an accurate measurement here is to ask the question ".. Which of the F100 are adequately represented on social media as a corporate brand?" .. EG: I really dont care that Larry Ellison of Oracle or Michael Dell is on the net, I care that ORACLE or DELL the company is on the net and approachable and that someone in the corporation has responsibility for being the voice of the company on-line.
It's one thing if you're the CEO of a startup, it's another if you're Warren Buffet.
