It's been a while since I've had time to blog so apologies for the disappearance but between workload, conferences, travel, and vacation - my work queue has been pretty backed-up. Hopefully I will get back to a more regular routine. For now - I've included the presentation Alice Wang and I delivered at the Concordia Workshop. Alice and I have been exploring this intersection between identity and social media / social networking for a few months now. Identity and security aspects of social media and social networking has become the most active research area I have right now - including topics such as brand monitoring and reputation. Social media inquiries have dominated by inquiry load since May - primarily driven by interest in Twitter and how to leverage that particular environment in a manner that satisfies risk concerns (especially for regulated enterprises). I'll post more on this particular trend later.

Interesting presentation. Is the audio/video recording of the session available?

Thanks. Unfortunately no, I wish we did have an audio at least of the Concordia workshop - but the two links do point to the backup reference materials and describe the flow of the user cases. There is also the Project Concordia wiki http://projectconcordia.org/index.php/Main_Page#Catalyst_2009_Pre-Conference_Workshop that might also help.
I will be presenting on the topic in September at the Oasis event on identity and government transparency http://events.oasis-open.org/home/forum/2009.
