Thanks for nice summary of this article. I am alos very much interested in UAM as reffred in this article below.

We believe the way to achieve this is by first opening up enterprise data, then by moving the remainder of our application infrastructure over time to simpler hosted interfaces and creating component application pieces that can be reassembled
into task-oriented templates. One key element is an implementation of the Unified Activities Management (UAM) project.

Do you have any comment on UAM ?

I am intrigued by what IBM is doing with the concept of activities - but I have a lot of questions regarding where UAM fits into workflow and process management frameworks that companies might already have implemented. Also, how UAM touches the world of social networking and community is another angle.
